Item 8.01. Other Events.
On March 23, 2020, Enstar Group Limited (the “Company”) suspended its previously announced ordinary share repurchase program (the “Repurchase Program”). The Company believes this was an appropriate action in light of the current uncertainty in the global financial markets resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. The Company has repurchased 92,510 ordinary shares for an aggregate price of $12.5 million since inception of the Repurchase Program.
